Plantasjen brought us in as a senior extension of their in-house team to handle the tricky implementation work, put structure in place for future scale, and keep delivery moving day-to-day.

Background

Plantasjen (NO) / Plantagen (SE) relaunched on Crystallize (headless ecom platform), consolidating PIM, DAM and workflows on a single headless platform with multi-market and language management and AI-assisted enrichment. The initial transformation was delivered in three months and reduced operational complexity and costs. We joined after this platform shift to help the team move faster and more safely on top of the new foundation.

Our role (external extension to the in-house team)

  • Tackle complex implementation tasks the in-house team doesn’t have time or bandwidth for.
  • Design scalable structures and flows so the site, content and ops can grow cleanly.
  • Build niche features like creation of QR codes for physical signs (straight from Crystallize) without the use of third party software.
  • Provide clear priorities across tech and content so everyone ships in the right order.
  • Be available daily in Slack for quick questions, code reviews and release checks.

AI & machine learning enablement

  • Product enrichment. Wire up AI-assisted enrichment to propose attributes, tags and copy that editors can accept/adjust in review flows.
  • Translations. Automated NO ↔ ENG ↔ SE translation integrated into the content model with human-in-the-loop QA and confidence thresholds.
  • Vendor-agnostic. Plumbed so models/services can be swapped without re-architecting.
